My favorite Nightclub in the late 90s

Recently, Bun B of UGK spoke about his performance in the late 90s at PJ's Disco of Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

When I was in my early 20s, I considered myself to be a dance hall king.
I traveled all over the state of Arkansas to attend whatever the hottest nightclub was at the time.
PJs Disco was my favorite spot, because the atmosphere made you feel like you were somebody as soon as you walked in the door!
This place had it all! It had a lit up dance floor, a swimming pool, and a billiard room. I am sure that a place like this would cost millions of dollars to build today.
Despite the apparent danger of this place, I still managed to go there numerous times. because I felt invincible!
My aunts talked about this place when they were younger, and I could not wait to go there as soon as I turned 21.
Sadly, due to a 2013 city ordinance to close nightclubs around 1 a.m. , Perry Johnson, the owner, made the decision to close its doors.
Three years later, Mr. Johnson died at the age of 70.
If those walls could talk, imagine the stories they would tell about the people who came there.
RIP Perry Johnson!
Thanks for making my 20s memorable!
